The problem

Most businesses are one incident away from a lawsuit they can't win

Paper reports, missing timestamps, unverified signatures — when the lawyers arrive, your documentation becomes your only defense.

01

Missing or incomplete reports

Handwritten forms get lost, damaged, or were never filed correctly. When you need them most, they're gone.

02

No legal standing

Without proper certification, reports can be challenged and dismissed. No timestamp means no proof of when it happened.

03

Costly settlements

Businesses without solid documentation pay far more than necessary — or lose cases they should have won.

Every report is certified the moment it's filed. No extra steps, no manual processes, no gaps.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before getting started.

Are LogShield reports actually admissible in court? +
LogShield reports use SHA-256 cryptographic hashing, RFC 3161 timestamps, and E-SIGN Act compliant digital signatures — standards recognized under federal and state law. However, LogShield makes no guarantee that any report will be admitted as evidence in any court or proceeding. Admissibility is determined solely by the presiding judge on a case-by-case basis and depends on many factors outside LogShield's control. LogShield is a documentation tool, not a legal service. You must consult a licensed attorney for any legal matter.
What does the 14-day free trial include? +
Your free trial gives you full access to the Pro plan features for 14 days — unlimited reports, SHA-256 certification, RFC 3161 timestamps, GPS capture, digital signatures, and PDF exports. No credit card is required to start. At the end of the trial, you can choose any paid plan or your account will be downgraded to limited access.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time? +
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months, but you will never be charged after cancellation.
Who has access to my incident reports? +
Only you and users you explicitly authorize have access to your reports. LogShield employees do not access your data except when required to provide technical support and only with your permission. We do not sell, share, or monetize your incident data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Is LogShield a law firm or legal advisor? +
No. LogShield is a software documentation platform, not a law firm, and does not provide legal advice. Nothing on this website or within the LogShield platform constitutes legal advice. Always consult a licensed attorney for guidance on your specific legal situation.
What happens to my data if I cancel? +
After cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days during which you can export all your reports. After 30 days, your data is permanently deleted from our servers. We recommend exporting all reports as PDFs before canceling.
Is my payment information secure? +
All payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. LogShield never stores your credit card information. Stripe's security standards exceed most banking institutions.
Can LogShield guarantee I won't lose a lawsuit? +
No. LogShield provides documentation tools to help businesses create certified, tamper-proof incident records. We cannot and do not guarantee any legal outcome. The outcome of any legal proceeding depends on many factors beyond documentation. LogShield is not liable for any legal outcomes, losses, or damages.
